1. Battery assembly notice before BMS installation:

Each cell must match before BMS installation (Battery internal resistance differences within 5 Milliohm, voltage within 0.03 V , capacity vary within 50 mAh). Lfepo4 cell, voltage between 2.6V~3.5V, Li-ion cell, voltage between 3~4V.

If the cells are fully charged, please discharge them to the standard voltage range. Cell first parallel then series.

2. Connection instruction of BMS wires:

(a) Connect B- big short wire to battery general negative end( B-and Discharge port, you must use one large wire to connect the hole)

(b) Connect signal/Balance wires: remove the balance wires from BMS before you assembly. Start from B-, first wire connect to B-,the second balance B1 wire connect to the first cell positive, B2 connect to second cell positive, balance wires soldering should be according to the order of B-,B1,B2,B3....

Protection board start-up instructions
First the, protection board needs to connect all the wires according to the corresponding string
number as per connection diagram, and then follow the figure below:
Active socket has two wires, one red and one black
The red is connected to the positive electrode of the battery, the black is connected to the negative electrode of the battery. It needs to be shorted to a voltage of 3-5V. Shorting it to 2S
will turn on the battery. It can be connected to a single battery or any string of voltages in the
battery pack. After the protection board is powered on, red lights at both ends flash, indicating
that the protection board has been powered on. After powering on, disconnect the two wires. You
can also leave the two wires for emergency use after power failure.
The protection board is connected to all the wires, and can be directly plugged into the charger to
activate the boot, but some chargers may not be activated.

Temperature sensors


This model can only connect 2 temperature sensors
The two temperature sensors are connected or not connected, and the protection board will work normally.
The temperature sensor is not connected, it is normal to display -30 degrees with Bluetooth.
After the protection board is connected to work normally, then connect the temperature sensor.
After the sensor is connected, it is best insulated with a heat shrink tube.
The back is fixed with double-sided tape
T1 and T2 are placed in two different positions of the battery pack to detect the temperature

What chargers can I use?
We recommend that the charger you use should be designed for charging Lithium batteries. SLA chargers can be used but can potentially damage or under charge the battery. The lithium charger should employ a constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) charge. The constant current is dependent on the capacity (amperes hour rating) of the Lithium battery and is typically 1C (0.2C to 0.5C is recommended) or less, e.g. a 9 Ah battery should be charged at 9 A or less. The constant voltage should be a minimum of 14.6 V on a 12V system (3.65V x 4 Cells).
Alternatively, A standard constant voltage lead acid battery charger can be used to charge the Lithium Batteries, as long as they meet the following standards:
- Charger must not contain an equalization setting
- Maximum charge voltage of 14.6V
- Recommended float charge voltage of 13.8V
- A charger with Lithium Iron Phosphate setting is recommended
- Some smart or multi-stage lead acid battery chargers have a feature that detects OCV, so it would refuse to charge the over-discharged lithium battery
